Denim fabric patchworked with muslin in a traditional log cabin quilt. The backside is a whole cloth of vintage mattress ticking.  

Hand-quilted with cotton Japanese Sashiko thread, padded with cotton batting, and trimmed with hand-stitched double-fold binding. 

The design and colors are inspired by an Abstract American quilt from the late 1800's.
